Nova Body Piercing is an appointment only piercing studio located on the ground floor of Alchemy. The studio is set in a beautiful Grade ll listed building on the charming street of Lady Bank in Tamworth, Staffordshire, directly opposite the historic Tamworth Castle.
I have been piercing for 3 years and I'm fully insured, registered with the local council, first aid trained and up to date on Blood Borne Pathogen and Cross Contamination certificates.
I was trained in all aspects of body piercing but I now choose to offer all ear piercings , nostril, eyebrow, navel and nipple/s.
The choice to remove oral piercings from my portfolio was entirely a personal preference.
(If you ask me in person, I will tell you why!)
I absolutely love what I do and client care and safety is very important to me. I always offer and promote downsizing and correct aftercare, along with free follow up check ups.
I use only implant grade Titanium or 14ct or 18ct solid gold for piercing. I do not used PVD coated titanium such as black, "rose gold" or "gold" as these are not body safe. I do not use or install plastic jewellery. Verified glass is a safe alternative for retainers. I most certainly do not use a piercing gun or any hand pressurised device.
I will always perform an anatomy check and measure and fit the appropriate jewellery for your individual anatomy. Everyone's bodies are different. Piercings aren't one size fits all.
All of my materials are sterile and most tools are disposable. Those that are not disposable are fully reprocessed and sterilised in an autoclave. Cycle numbers are taken and attached to your appointment notes.
Client care and safety are my top priority. I am always learning and keeping up to date with the latest techniques and safety courses. I'm a member of professional piercer forums and paid patreons to keep up to date with the latest information.
I carry accounts with UK/APP verified jewellery suppliers such as Junipurr, Inari Organics, Industrial Strength, Clickerino and more. Please feel free to book a consultation to discuss jewellery options.
If you're having trouble with a piercing, whether it's years old or brand new, I have a piercing trouble shooting form. Feel free to fill it in and I can give you advice and hopefully help you.
